Meet the team behind Futuris Solutions
Gerhard Strydom - Director
Gerhard is a Co-Founder and Director of Futuris Solutions, and a Co-Founder of BanqOn.
He has a strong commercial and corporate banking background, having held senior positions at ABSA and Barclays banks over a 19-year period.
During Gerhard’s time supporting Noor Bank and RSA, he focused on business model development and digital
banking, for which he developed a keen interest.
Gerhard was key in helping Noor Bank win the ‘Best Transformation and Strategy’ Award at the Global Islamic
Finance Awards in 2019.
Gerhard is an experienced people practitioner, having held roles as a Relationship Executive, Regional Human Resources Director and multiple Vice-Presidential roles within human resource departments.
Andre Hattingh - Director
Andre is a Co-Founder and Director of Futuris Solutions, and a Co-Founder of BanqOn.
He is also a Managing Partner of PayTech Consulting, for which he is the Director for EMEA.
Andre is an expert in card product strategy and card product optimisation and efficiency, with over 30 years'
experience in the payments industry. During his time at Visa he was Head of Commercial Solutions for CEMEA
and Head of Visa Performance Solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa.
He is also a non-executive director at EedenBull – the fintech firm which focuses on customer payments and money management for the end user.
